12 Men's and Women's Ice Hockey Players Named To AHCA All-American Scholar List
PAXTON, MA - On Monday, June 17th the AHCA announced the list for their eighth annual All-American Scholars. To qualify, a student-athlete must have attained a 3.75 GPA for each semester, and had to appear in 40% of the team's games. Exceptions were granted to injured players and back-up goaltenders. Schools also were required to be members of the AHCA.
The Anna Maria women's ice hockey team had eight student-athletes named to the All-American Scholar list. While the men's hockey team had four student-athletes make the cut. Earlier in the spring, the men's hockey team took home their sixth straight School GPA Award which goes out to the team on campus with the highest GPA.
