PAXTON, MA - On Saturday, April 5th the Anna Maria College men's lacrosse team hosted the Emmanuel College Saints at Caparso Field in Paxton, MA for Senior Day. The AMCATS lost the game 23-2.
The Saints were the first to strike with a goal less than two minutes into the game however Dylan Rooney answered back quick with the AMCATS first goal of the day nearly three minutes later. Unfortunately the AMCATS wouldn't find the back of the net again until almost five minutes into the second quarter where Eric Farrell found the back of the net with help from Joseph Osbourne. This would be the last goal scored for the AMCATS as the game ended with a score of 23-2 in favor of the Saints. Despite the loss, Nathan Powers won 27 of his 28 face-offs against the saints.
