WORCESTER, MA - On Saturday, October 26th the Anna Maria College men's soccer team traveled down the street to take on the Clark University Cougars for a non-conference matchup. The AMCATS lost the game 4-1.
The AMCATS opened up the game early in the first half with a goal from Kyle Brocker just 17 minutes in. Brockers goal was assisted by Brendan Hall for his first of the season.
The AMCATS lead would be short lived however, as the Cougars turned things on in the second half, scoring four unanswered goals throughout the remainder of the game. The Cougars would outshoot the AMCATS 16-6 in the second half. Unable to generate a comeback, the AMCATS would end up falling to the Cougars 4-1.
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE:
- Romeu Szulc started his first career game in net for the AMCATS.
- Kyle Brocker notched his 13th point of the season against the Cougars.
COMING UP:
Men's soccer will be back in action on Tuesday, October 29th where they will take on the Monks of Saint Joseph's (ME) for a Great Northeast Athletic Conference matchup. Opening kickoff is set for 5:00pm.
