Santiago Named To USC All-Region Team
PAXTON, MA - On Wednesday, December 4th the United Soccer Coaches announced this years NCAA Division III Men's Soccer All-Region Team. Men's soccer goalkeeper Valter Santiago was named to the All-Region Third Team.
Coming off of a career high season, Santiago totaled 108 saves ranking him second in the GNAC as well as posting an impressive 1.35 GAA and a .824 SV%. Santiago also recorded a career high of nine wins with the AMCATS including three shutout performances. Following the 2024 season, Santiago was named the GNAC Goalie of the Year and ranked in the top 40 nationally for Saves and Save Percentage. Santiago finished his career at Anna Maria tied for first in Goalkeeper Wins with 14 while also ranking second all time for Wins in a Season with 9.
