Volleyball Sweeps Bulldogs On Senior Night
PAXTON, MA - On Wednesday, November 6th the Anna Maria College women's volleyball team hosted the Dean College Bulldogs for Senior Night. The AMCATS won the match 3-0.
The AMCATS took an early lead over the Bulldogs in set one and battled their way through to the first set win of the evening. Set two would see a tighter race as the Bulldogs clawed back to keep the score within two points, however it was the AMCATS who prevailed with a 25-23 set win to take a 2-0 lead. Set three would go smoother for the AMCATS astray pulled away early and maintained their lead resulting in a clean sweep and a 3-0 win for their first conference win of the season.
BEYOND THE BOXSCORE:
- Jana Hunt leads the AMCATS so far this season with 180 points and 139 kills.
- Annie Taylor continues to dominate the AMCATS leaderboard for digs with 365 so far this season.
- Taylor is now tied for Third all-time with digs in a season.
- The AMCATS win marks their first conference win since 2021.

The AMCATS will be back in action on Friday, November 8th where they will head to Boston, MA to take on the Simmons University Sharks for a Great Northeast Athletic Conference matchup. First set starts at 5:30pm!
