BOSTON, MA - On Friday, November 8th the Anna Maria College women's volleyball team traveled to Boston, MA to take on the Simmons University Sharks for a Great Northeast Athletic Conference matchup. The AMCATS lost the game 3 sets to 0.
The AMCATS would face an uphill battle from the start of the game as the Sharks attacked early with a 25-9 set win to open the evening. The AMCATS would put up more of a fight in the second set falling to the sharks by just ten points for a score of 25-15. Unfortunately things would not improve for the AMCATS as the Sharks took home their third straight set win with a score of 25-11. The game would end 3-0 in favor of the Sharks.
COMING UP:
The AMCATS will be back in action on Saturday, November 9th where they will host the Norwich University Cadets and the Monks of Saint Joseph's Maine for a Great Northeast Athletic Conference Tri-Match. The first match is set for 11am agains the Cadets.
