Men's Basketball Cant Keep Up Against Bantams

HARTFORD, CT - On Friday, December 6th the Anna Maria College men's basketball team traveled to Hartford, CT to take on the Trinity College Bantams for a non-conference matchup. The AMCATS lost the game 93-51.

The AMCATS struggled in the first half after getting out scored 44-19. Gabe Armstead and Jayden Dickerson were the point leaders for the AMCATS in the first half with six points each. The second half was a better showing for the AMCATS however it wasn't enough to close the gap as the Bantams put up nearly fifty points. The game would end with a final score of 93-51 in favor of the Bantams. Ray Carter Jr. ended up leading the AMCATS offense with 11 points while Gabe Armstead and Jayden Dickerson posted ten points each.

COMING UP:

The AMCATS will be back in action on Saturday, December 14th where they will host the Vermont State Castleton Spartans for a non-conference matchup. Opening tip-off is set for 1:00pm at the Fuller Center in Paxton, MA.
