WESTON, MA - On Saturday, October 12th the Anna maria College women's soccer team traveled to Weston, MA to take on the Regis College Pride for a Great Northeast Athletic Conference matchup. The AMCATS lost the game 8-1.
It was a tough night for the AMCATS as the Prides first goal of the evening would come off a penalty kick just three minutes into the first half. The Pride would score three more goals before Mia Kuhl got the AMCATS on the board with a penalty kick just over thirty minutes into the game. unfortunately Kuhls goal would be the AMCATS only goal of the evening. The Pride would go on to score one more goal before the end of the first half followed by three unanswered goals in the second half. The AMCATS would end up falling to the Pride 8-1.
COMING UP:
The AMCATS will be back in action on Monday, October 14th where they will head to Providence, RI to take on the Johnson and Wales University Wildcats for a Great Northeast Athletic Conference matchup. Opening kickoff is set for 7:00pm.
