Anna Maria Celebrates NCAA Division III Week

PAXTON, Mass.—The Anna Maria College athletic department is once again participating in NCAA Division III Week from April 4-10 with a full week of events, beginning on Wednesday afternoon at the baseball game.

This year's events at Anna Maria include a baseball game and fan appreciation event, the second annual "Day in the life of an AMCAT" event for students of Worcester South High School, a special AMCAT Friday prize day and a bonus softball fan appreciation event on Wednesday, April 13th.

Full schedule of events:

WEDNESDAY, APRIL 6

3:00 p.m. – Baseball vs. Newbury (at New England Baseball Complex)
5:30 p.m. – Baseball Fan Appreciation game

A week of celebrations begins on Wednesday with a home baseball game! Following the game, join the baseball team and coaching staff for a post-game refreshments to honor our loyal fans.

THURSDAY, APRIL 7

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN AMCAT

9:30 a.m. - Meet and Greet (Jacques)
9:30-10:30 a.m. - Coaches Panel (Jacques)
10:50 a.m. - Class
12:05 p.m. - Lunch in the Dining Hall
12:45 p.m. - Student-Athlete Panel (Jacques)

Anna Maria welcomes 12 students from Worcester South High School to experience a day in the life of an Anna Maria student-athlete.

FRIDAY, APRIL 8

11:30-1:30 p.m. - AMCAT Friday Prize Week.

The Anna Maria athletic department will award prizes to the best dressed AMCAT Friday participants! Strut your best Anna Maria outfits past the raffle table in the dining hall on Friday for a chance to win!

*BONUS* WEDNESDAY, APRIL 13

7:00 p.m. – Softball vs. Lasell (at New England Baseball Complex)
9:00 p.m. – Softball vs. Lasell (at New England Baseball Complex)

Starbucks, Dunkin Donuts, and Panera gift cards will be raffled off every odd inning throughout the softball doubleheader! Pizza or sandwiches will also be provided for fans in between games.
