Bio

Michael Morgan was named the Anna Maria College Faculty Athletics Representative in September 2015. In his role as Anna Maria’s Faculty Athletics Representative, Morgan serves as the liason between academics and the athletic department.  

Morgan was named an Assistant Professor of Sport Management after holding a similar role at Becker College for two years.

Prior to entering the collegiate education field, Morgan put in over 35 years in the financial services industry, holding roles in everything from marketing to corporate strategy.

In addition, Morgan has served as a consultant in the sports field for over 25 years. In 2006, he was approved by the PGA as a player manager.

He has held various coaching positions over his career including over 30 years of coaching basketball to his current role as the Becker College golf coach.

Morgan obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree in accounting from Biscayne College. He also holds a Master of Public Administration degree from Anna Maria.

He and his wife have three children and reside in Holden, Mass. In his free time, Morgan enjoys traveling to Cape Cod and playing golf.
