JONATHAN GUARDASCIONE, BASEBALL
Sophomore designated hitter Jonathan Guardascione of the Anna Maria College baseball team has been named the AMCAT Spotlight Player of the week for the week of March 10th through the 16th. It was a busy week for the AMCATS as they would finish up their spring trip in Florida. Guardascione would stepped up to the plate for the AMCATS and had an impressive performance all week. This week he went 7-for-14 at the plate with .500/.588./.857 averages along with five RBI's and four runs scored. His impressive performance would even land him his first career home run as an AMCAT against Western New England. Jonathan would add to his highlighted week with two doubles in back-to-back games and would tally three RBIs in one game for the AMCATS. Guardascione has a .389 batting average with one home run, 6 RBIs, 4 runs and 7 hits for the AMCATS in 9 games so far this season.

The AMCATS will be back in action on Wednesday March 19th, 2025 where they will travel to Old Rochester, MA to take on Mass Maritime. Opening pitch is set for 4:00pm.
