Nathan Powers, Men's Lacrosse

Senior men’s lacrosse player Nathan Powers was named AMCAT Spotlight Player of the Week for games played March 17th through the 23rd. Powers had a phenomenal and sensational showing on Wednesday March 19th, where the AMCATS would host the Eagles of Husson University. Powers would credit 4 assists in the game to lead the AMCATS in assists against the Eagles. The draw control would once again be like watching a sensational show as Powers would be 14 for 18 only losing 4, some due to face off violations. That would credit Nathan with 15 ground balls to lead both teams, in groundballs with the next closet player from either team in ground balls would be 9. Nathan would also pick up 5 shots on goal and one caused turnover against the Eagles. Powers currently sits in second in points for the AMCATS with 14 points, with 6 goals and 8 assists in only five games played. Nathan also has a total of 70 ground balls so far this season in only 5 games played. As Powers continues to dominate the face offs, he leads Division III in first place with winning face off percentages with a .882 percentage with a toal of 82 faceoff wins and only 11 losses, if that is not spectacular enough, Powers also has the AMCATS as a team ranked first in Division III for faceoff winning percentages.
