Guillaume Coulombe, Men's Ice Hockey
Graduate men’s ice hockey player Guillaume Coulombe was named AMCAT Spotlight Player of the Week for games played January 13th through the 19th. On Thursday January 16th the AMCATS would face off against the Flacons of Fitchburg State. It would be Guillaume Coulombe who would start the scoring off for the AMCATS against the Falcons, to get them on the board. Coulombe tremendous night against the Falcons would not end after his first goal, as he would go on to tally three more assists against the Falcons. The AMCATS offense and Guillaume stellular night would help to secure the AMCATS to a win over the Falcons of Fitchburg State. Coulombe sensational week would continue for the AMCATS as, they would take on the Vikings of Salem State on Saturday. It would be Coulombe who would put on a performance for the AMCATS as he would get the first goal of the game against the Vikings for the AMCATS, and his points would just continue. His exceptional offensive skills would be stellular on the night as he would score his second goal of the game against the Vikings on a powerplay for the AMCATS. Guillaume tremendous performance and the AMCATS offensive pressure would secure the powerful win against the Vikings of Salem State. Guillaume Coulombe phenomenal week would total a 6-point week (3 goals and 3 assists), in two games. He would have a total of 5 goals and 8 assists so far this season for a total of 13 points. Guillaume Coulombe outstanding performance would award him with MASCAC Player of the Week Honors.
The AMCATS will be back in action on Thursday, January 23rd, 2025, where they will host the Panthers of Plymouth State for a MASCAC-conference matchup. Opening puck drop is set for 5:40pm at the Horgan Arena in Auburn, MA.
