Fall AMCATS Earn GNAC Recognition

WORCESTER, MA : Two Anna Maria College fall student-athletes were named to the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) All-Conference teams in an announcement by the conference on Tuesday.

Anna Maria senior midfielder Chayna Bingham-Hendricks (Mashpee, MA) of the AMCAT field hockey team was voted second team GNAC All-Conference. Bingham-Hendricks finished her final season with the AMCATS scoring five goals with ten assists, good for second in the conference, and led the AMCATS to the GNAC playoffs.

Anna Maria senior midfielder Abigayle Celata (Baldwinville, MA) was named to the GNAC field hockey Sportsmanship Team.

Anna Maria freshman midfielder Rubelsi Moran (Holden, MA) of the AMCAT men's soccer team was voted second team GNAC All-Conference in just his first season with the program, while simultaneously being voted to the All-Rookie team. Moran led Anna Maria with ten goals and six assists.

Anna Maria junior midfielder Caleb Wu (New Hartford, NY) was named to the GNAC men's soccer Sportsmanship Team.

Anna Maria senior defender Ashley Rufo (Pittsfield, MA) was named to the GNAC women's soccer Sportsmanship Team.

Anna Maria sophomore outside hitter Sarah Burt (Plymouth, MA) was named to the GNAC women's volleyball Sportsmanship Team.
