Lasers Shoot Past Women’s Soccer 5-0

PAXTON, MA — On Saturday, October 22nd the Anna Maria College women's soccer team celebrated their senior day where they hosted the Lasell University Lasers for a Great Northeast Athletic Conference matchup. The AMCATS lost the game 5-0.

The Lasers were quick to get on the board with a goal from Bobbi O'Guin just a minute and twenty three seconds into the first half. Just eleven minutes later Evelyn Difiore score the Lasers second goal. Difiore would go on to score the next two goals for the Lasers with one being score just two minutes before her first. O'Guin closed out the scoring for the Lasers in the first half with just over fifteen minutes left to play. Camdyn LaMarre assisted three out of the five Laser goals. The second half would be held scoreless as goalkeeper Madi Mulligan entered the game and locked down the back end for the AMCATS stopping all ten shots faced.

Congratulations to Mia Kuhl, McKenna Coolidge and Raegan Hachey on their incredible careers here at Anna Maria. We are beyond proud of your contributions to just on the field but in the Anna Maria Community as well.

The AMCATS will be back in action on Tuesday, October 24th where they will head to Springfield, MA to take on the Elms College Blazers for the final game of the regular season. Opening kickoff is at 7:00pm.
