Pride Squeak by Women’s Soccer

WESTON, MA: The Anna Maria College women's soccer team lost to Regis College on Wednesday in Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) action.

HIGHLIGHTS

  • The game was scoreless through the first half but the Pride put an end to that a little over two minutes into the second half when Hailey Lovell scored her fourth goal of the season in the 48th minute.
  • Sophomore midfielder Olympia Meyers (Grimsby, ON) represented the majority of the AMCATS offense with two shots on goal while senior defender DeAnna Baker (Lansdale, PA) and graduate student midfielder Keannah Dunsmore (Georgia, VT) had one a piece.
  • The Pride kept the AMCATS goalie Alice Yokabaskas (Old Orchard Beach, ME) only slightly busier, as she recorded six saves.
