Bison Stampede Passed Women’s Volleyball

DUDLEY, MA. – On Tuesday, October 17th the Anna Maria College women's volleyball team traveled across town to Dudley, MA to take on the Nichols College Bison for a non-conference matchup. The AMCATS lost  the match 3-0.

Getting a jump on the AMCATS early, the Bison would start to pull away with a 25-14 set win over Anna Maria to get things started. Now trailing one set to none the AMCATS struggled to keep up in the second set as the Bison maintain the lead for a second set win, with a score of 25-13. The third set wouldn't go much different for the AMCATS as the Bison would put up yet another 25-14 set win closing the match out with a three set sweep over the AMCATS.

BEYOND THE BOX SCORE

• Serena Dennis led the AMCATS with nine digs during the match.
• Julia Tarantino and Sarah Burt posted four assists each
• Suzette Scheer led the AMCATS with five kills on the night

WHAT'S NEXT

The AMCATS will be back in action on Saturday, October 21st where they will head to New London, CT to take on the Mitchell College Mariners for a Great Northeast Athletic Conference matchup. First set starts at 1:00pm.
