Women’s Volleyball Finish Year With Tri-Match Losses to Pride and Cadets

NORTHFIELD, VT: The Anna Maria College women's volleyball returned to action this afternoon when they traveled to Northfield, VT for a tri-match with Regis College and Norwich University.

HIGHLIGHTS

  • In their first game of the day, the AMCATS fell in three sets to the Pride. Senior outside hitter Bella Kozciak (Westfield, MA) led the AMCATS with seven kills and four service aces to account for 11 points.
  • Senior libero Serena Dennis (Holyoke, MA) recorded a game-high 21 digs for her second consecutive game with more than 20 digs. This was also the fourth game of the season that she exceeded the 20-dig barrier.
  • In their second game of the afternoon, senior middle blocker Ryann Hassett (North Oxford, MA) paced the AMCATS attack, scoring three and a half points on three kills and an assisted block.
  • Kozciak was just off the pace set by Hassett, recording three points off of three kills while contributing eight digs.
  • Junior outside hitter Sarah Burt (Plymouth, MA) had a team-high 14 digs while also adding two kills and pairing up with Hassett for the blocked shot.
