Field Hockey Held Scoreless By Pride

WESTON, MA. – On Tuesday, October 24th the Anna Maria College field hockey team traveled to Weston, MA to take on the Regis College Pride for a Great Northeast Athletic Conference matchup. The AMCATS lost the game 4-0.

After a scoreless first quarter, Regis struck just over nine minutes into the second quarter as Sarah Juskiewicz shifted the loose ball around the defense and sent a shot into the net for her first goal of the night. With just over a minute remaining in the first half, Gracie Mars pushed a pass towards the left post, and Belle Celli found an open spot over the goal line. 

Just over nine minutes into the third quarter, Frankie Alley pushed the ball up the field and sent it towards the net, with Celli redirecting it into the net for her second tuck of the night. Juskiewicz added one more goal with a little over three minutes remaining in the match for her sixth goal of the season. The AMCATS would close out the game with no shots on goal as the Pride led 4-0.
