Men’s Soccer Draws With Norwich On The Road

NORTHFIELD, VT. – On Friday, September 22nd the Anna Maria College men's soccer team traveled up to Northfield, VT to take on the Norwich University Cadets for a Great Northeast Athletic Conference matchup. The AMCATS tied the Cadets 0-0.

Outshot by the Cadets, the AMCATS saw their first and only shot on goal in the first half, off the foot of Hezekiah Adeyeye. Tied at zero, the AMCATS had to step things up on defense in the second half after the Cadets managed six shots over the AMCATS zero throughout the final forty five minutes of play. AMCATS goal keeper Valter Santiago locked things down on the back end for the AMCATS, stopping all four shots that came his way throughout the half. Outshot after ninety minutes of play, the AMCATS managed to end the game unscathed, collecting their first draw of the season.
