Men’s Soccer Closes Out Regular Season With 4-0 Loss To Bluejays

PAXTON, MA. – On Tuesday, October 4th the Anna Maria College men's soccer team celebrated senior night by hosting the University of Saint Joseph (CT) Bluejays for a Great Northeast Athletic Conference Matchup. The AMCATS lost the game 4-0.

The Bluejays kicked things off with a goal just ten minutes into the first half off the boot of Henry McGarrah V. Despite going down early in the game, the AMCATS fended off the Bluejays for the remainder of the half keeping the score at 1-0 going into the intermission.

After the break it would take the Bluejays almost twenty minutes to end up back on the board. A goal from Nolan Clack would make it a 2-0 game. The Bluejays goal would be the beginning of the end for the AMCATS as they would score their third goal just three minutes later. Pulling away from the AMCATS the Bluejays would put up their fourth goal with just twelve minutes left to play adding some insurance to their lead. Trailing by four, the AMCATS wouldn't be able to come back resulting in a 4-0 loss to end the regular season.
