Men’s Soccer Come Up Short Against Mitchell

NEW LONDON, CT: The Anna Maria College men's soccer team took on Mitchell College at the Yarnall Athletic Center for a non-conference matchup this afternoon. In a fairly even game that saw neither team pull away in any statistical category, the AMCATS came up just short, falling 2-1.

HIGHLIGHTS

• Senior forward Hezekiah Adeyeye (Woonsocket, RI) evened the game for the AMCATS when he found pay dirt with a goal in the 36^th minute. The goal was Adeyeye's first of the year.
• Graduate student goalkeeper Valter Santiago (Norwood, MA) recorded six saves on eight shots but saw his record fall to 0-2-0 on the season.
• The Mariners got their goals in the 8^th and 78^th minutes from Dylan Lucey and Noslin Antunez respectively. Jeremy Gibbs was credited with an assist on Lucey's goal.
