Hezekiah Adeyeye Named to GNAC Men's Soccer All-Conference Team

Winthrop, MA...Anna Maria men's soccer senior forward Hezekiah Adeyeye (Woonsocket, RI ) was named to the 2022 Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Men's Soccer All-Conference Second Team. This marks the second time Adeyeye has been received GNAC postseason honors. He was named the 2019 GNAC Rookie of the Year and was named to the all-conference second team in his rookie season. In 15 games this year for the AMCATS, he recorded a team-leading seven goals along with team highs in assists (3) and points (17). In two conference games at the end of the season, Adeyeye had two goals and in assist in 3-2 win over Elms and a goal and an assist in a 2-0 win over Regis. The wins helped the AMCATS move into the top eight in the conference and qualify for the GNAC tournament for the first time since joining the conference. Adeyeye was 12th in the league in goals and 15th in points.

In 54 career games for Anna Maria, Adeyeye has 27 goals, 18 assists and 72 points. He begin his college career in 2019 scoring five goals in a 5-2 win over Becker in just his second game for the AMCATS. The five goals and 10 points are a school record for goals and points in a game. He ended his freshman campaign with 12 goals, four assists and 28 points. Adeyeye's 72 points ranks third all-time in a career and his 27 goals is third all-time and 18 assists are tied for all-time in a career.
