Men’s Soccer Scratches Past Saints 3-0

BOSTON, MA. – On Saturday, October 14th the Anna Maria College Men's Soccer team traveled to Boston, MA to take on the Emmanuel College Saints for a Great Northeast Athletic Conference matchup. The AMCATS won the game 3-0.

The AMCATS started things early with a goal just fifteen minutes into the game after a pass from Nathan Medeiros found the boot of Gabe Tellez. The remainder of the first half would go scoreless as the AMCATS fended off a frenzy of opportunities from the Saints. Valter Santiago would make four stops to keep the game 1-0 in favor of the AMCATS as the half came to a close.

Almost five minutes later, Adeyeye would find Rubelsi Moran for the AMCATS third goal of the day making it a 3-0 game with 30 minutes left to play in the second half. Santiago would stop all three shots in the second half to help the AMCATS secure the 3-0 victory over the saints.
