2022 Men's Soccer GNAC Quarterfinals
Paxton, MA...The Anna Maria College men's soccer team finished the season 3-7-2 in the Great Northeast Atheltic Conference (GNAC) and earned the number eighth seed in the upcoming 2022 GNAC Men's Soccer Tournament. The AMCATS will travel to number one seed and defending conference champion St. Joseph's (ME) on Saturday, October 29 for a quarterfinal game at 5:00 PM. The Monks are winners of four of the last five GNAC crowns dating back to the 2016 campaign
Anna Maria, under fifth-year head Jacob Pesarcik, qualified for the GNAC tournament for the first time since joining the conference in 2011. The AMCATS won two straight games last week to help finish in the top eight.
The AMCATS are led by senior Hezekiah Adeyeye's (Woonsocket, RI) seven goals, three assists and 17 points. Senior Matthew Pearle (East Wareham, MA) and sophomore Rubelsi Moran (Holden, MA) each have two goals.
