Eden Forget, Softball

Senior pitcher / short stop Eden Forget (Worcester, MA) of the Anna Maria College softball team has been named the AMCAT Spotlight Female Athlete of the Week for the week ending March 17, 2022. 

Forget was unbelievable on Saturday against Vermont State Johnson, pitching five flawless innings and striking out thirteen batters. Forget would also give up no walks or runs during the outing against the Badgers. Forget was strong at the plate against the Badgers with two hits and two runs batted in for the first game. Forget would add a double and one run batted in the second game against the Badgers. Forget has a tremendous number of strikeouts in the season already with twenty-two total strikeouts in just twelve-point two innings. Forget posting an incredible ERA of 1.66 on the season and averages a tremendous number of strikeouts per a game so far this season with it being 11.61 per a game.
