ANNA MARIA COLLEGE ATHLETICS INDUCTS 2024 HALL OF FAME INDUCTEES

Paxton, Mass.—Anna Maria College and the Athletic Department officially inducted the 2024 Hall of Fame Class on Saturday, March 23, 2024 on the campus of Anna Maria College. The 8th Hall of Fame class included: Kylie (Dalbec) Perdomo '16, Tina (Oliveri) Seabury '07, and the 1996 Men's Basketball Team. 

Anna Maria College's Athletic Hall of Fame was founded in 1993. The Athletic Hall of Fame recognizes individuals who have distinguished themselves through their involvement in Anna Maria's athletic program. Athletic Hall of Fame members include athletes, coaches, administrators, and staff who have demonstrated outstanding character, leadership, commitment, and sportsmanship. Each inductee is presented with a plaque during the ceremony, and Athletic Hall of Fame members are honored on a wall plaque in the lobbies of the Fuller Activities Center and AMCAT Center.

The Athletic Hall of Fame Committee is comprised of members representing Anna Maria College alumni, Athletic Hall of Fame members, Athletic Department staff and coaches. Responsibilities include identifying and researching nominees, selecting each class to be inducted, and planning the induction ceremony.

"Two outstanding individuals and a team etched their names in Anna Maria history as part of the Anna Maria College Hall of Fame. They have had special careers and a season at Anna Maria and they joined an outstanding and amazing group of past inductees, commented Director of Athletics Joe Brady '96 . It was an honor to be part of a great night and to celebrate everyone as they truly deserved this recognition."

Kylie Dalbec '16 was a four-year field hockey player with an amazing and record shattering career. She is currently the career leader in goals (68), assists (48) and points (184). In addition, she holds school records in assists in a season (18) and is second all-time in goals in a season (21) and points in a season (53). Dalbec appeared in 84 games adding 24 game-winning goals to her impressive statistics. She led the AMCATS to 55 wins, two New England Collegiate Conference Championships (NECC) in 2012 and 2013, and the 2014 Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Tournament runner-up.

In addition, she led the team to three ECAC appearances (2012, 2014, 2015) and an appearance in the 2023 NCAA tournament. The NCAA tournament appearance was the first in school history for field hockey.
Dalbec earned 2012 NECC Rookie of the Year honors and NECC All-Conference First Team Honors, 2013 NECC Player of the Year Honors and NECC All-Conference Second Teams, 2014 GNAC Player of the Year Honors and 2014 GNAC All-Conference First Team Honors in 2014 and 2025. In addition, she was named to the 2014 Longstreth/National Field Hockey Coaches' Association Division III All-New England East Region First Team, 2015 Longstreth/National Field Hockey Coaches' Association Division III All-New England East Region Second Team and earned 2014 GNAC Women of The Year honors.

Dalbec was a standout in the classroom and was a four-time National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Division III National Academic Squad recipient. She was named to the 2013 NECC All-Academic Team and received GNAC All-Academic Honors as a junior and senior.

Dalbec also played one year for the women's lacrosse team, recording 21 goals and three assists. Dalbec earned an MBA from Assumption College after graduating from Anna Maria.

She is currently administrative manager for Resurrection Golf and volunteers with Marine Mammals of Maine doing ocean education, fundraising, and response for injured marine mammals. Dalbec is originally from Portland, Maine and attended Portland High School in 2012. She is married to Samuel Perdomo and they welcomed their first son Tito this past fall.

Kylie was presented for induction into the Hall of Fame by her college coach and Hall of Fame Member Sharon Zenevitch '84.

Tina Oliveri '07 was a four-year standout on the women's basketball team and had an outstanding career while at Anna Maria. She is tenth all-time in points scored with 1,030 points and 25th all-time in rebounds (404). She also is first all-time with 223 career three- point fields goals made, second all-time in career three-point field goal percentage (36.5%), and third all-time in three-point field goals in a season (74). Oliveri started in 90 of 93 games played during her career.

Oliveri was also a four-year member of the softball team and played field hockey during her senior year. During her four years on the softball team, she missed only two games, starting in all 133 out of 133 career games played for the AMCATS while accumulating 103 hits, 46 runs, 18 doubles, and 40 RBIs. In her senior year she batted .318 and had a career high 10 doubles. During her senior year she appeared in 15 games for the field hockey team and started in 14 games as a midfielder.

She is currently a pediatric psychiatric nurse practitioner at the Justice Resource Institute.

Oliveri is originally from Worcester, MA and graduated from Burncoat High School in 2003. She is married to Kevin Seabury and has two children Patrick (9) and Emma (6).

Tina was presented for induction into the Hall of Fame by her college coach Aimee Lee.

The 1995-1996 Men's Basketball team finished the historical season 25-5 and reached the NCAA Tournament Sweet 16. The AMCATS were the first team in school history to play in the NCAA tournament as well as host an NCAA Tournament game in any sport. The AMCATS completed the season with a 15-1 record in the Commonwealth Coast Conference and won the regular season championship and went on to win the conference tournament championship by defeating Wentworth 94-63 on their home court.

The AMCATS hosted Babson College in the first round of the NCAA tournament in front of a capacity and electric crowd and defeated the Beavers 111-90, avenging an early season loss. The AMCATS advanced to the second round of the NCAA Tournament and traveled to Salem State, the number one seed in the New England sectional, defeating the Vikings 74-67. The second round victory against Salem State avenged another early season loss, to continue the Cinderella tournament run. The historical season ended in the Sweet 16 in New Jersey after a 95-88 loss to host Richard Stockton State. The AMCATS averaged 89.4 points per game and 9.3 three-point field goals per game during the magical season. The 25 wins in a season marks the most wins in school history.

The AMCATS were coached by head coach Paul Phillips and assisted by Mike Burlas, David Shea '93 and Jay Curran '87. Members of the 1995-1996 team were: Tom Keane '96, Tim O'Brien '96, Jeff Padula '96, Anthony Carter '97, Jon O'Brien '97, Jeff Paulhus '97, Steve Daniewicz '98, Michael Dowd '98, Jon Economo '98, John Patraitis '98 and Mark Sweeney '98.

The AMCATS had four players in double figures during the magical run. Patraitis (22.0 ppg), O"Brien (16.9 ppg), Padula (11.6 ppg) and Keane (10.0 ppg). O'Brien and Patraitis were inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1998. Curran a former men's basketball player and member of the men's soccer, baseball and golf teams was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1999 and Head Coach Paul Phillips (1986-1996) was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2017.

The 1995-1996 Men's Basketball team was presented for induction into the Hall of Fame by Head Coach Paul Phillips (1986-1996) and player Tim O"Brien '96 accepted the induction on behalf of his teammates and coaches.
