Wildcats Scratch Past Women’s Soccer 8-0

PAXTON, MA. – On Saturday, September 23rd the Anna Maria College women's soccer team hosted the Johnson and Wales University Wildcats for a Great Northeast Athletic Conference matchup. The AMCATS lost the game 8-0.

The Wildcats started the game out quick putting up their first goal of the day just five minutes into play. The AMCATS would struggle to keep up with JWU getting out shot 19-2 throughout ninety minutes of play. Goal keeper Kortney Clark stopped 10 of 18 shots in an effort to keep her team in the game. Johnson and Wales MacKenna Renaud led the Wildcats with a Hatrick (3 goals) in the win over the AMCATS.

  • The Wildcats are undefeated in conference play with a record of 6-0.
