Sharks Sneak Past Women’s Soccer 1-0

BOSTON, MA. – On Saturday, October 14th the Anna Maria College women's soccer team traveled to Boston, MA to take on the Simmons University Sharks for a Great Northeast Athletic Conference matchup. The AMCATS lost the game 1-0.

The Sharks landed on the board late in the first half with a goal from Lauren Krupnikoff with fifteen minutes left before half time. Unable to get any shots on net, the AMCATS would close out the half behind the Sharks 1-0. Valentina Villa would land the AMCATS first shot of the night just a minute into the second half, however it would be the AMCATS last opportunity of the game. The Sharks would spend the remainder of the game on the offensive. Kortney Clark managed to keep the game 1-0 stopping all five shots in the second half. The AMCATS would close out the game behind the Sharks 1-0.
