NEWTON, MA: The Anna Maria College women's soccer team traveled to Lasell University on Saturday evening for some Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) action at Taylor Field.

HIGHLIGHTS

  • The AMCATS spent most of this game under siege as the Lasers outshot them 18-2. 13 of the Lasers' shots were on net.
  • Both of the AMCATS shots were on goal, but neither was able to get past the Lasers' netminder. The shots were taken by graduate midfielder Keannah Dunsmore (Georgia, VT) and sophomore forward Riley Michaud (Clinton, MA).
  • Senior goalkeeper Alice Yokabaskas (Old Orchard Beach, ME) recorded eight saves in the game, pushing her season total to a career-high 69 with at least two games remaining. This was the eighth time this year that she has recorded more than five saves in a game, including four of the last five.
  • The Lasers' goals were scored by Serena Speight (30'), Bobby O'Guin (47', 83'), Sarah Lynch (81'), and Kaleigh Kosta (89').
