NEW LONDON, NH—The Anna Maria College women's soccer team traveled to New London, NH on Saturday, September 9th to take on the Colby-Sawyer Charger for a Great Northeast Athletic Conference matchup. The AMCATS lost the game 4-0.
A goal from the Chargers sixteen minutes into the first half put the AMCATS down 1-0. Unable to get a shot off until late In the half, the AMCATS entered halftime trailing by one. With an opportunity to tie things in the second half the Chargers held off the AMCATS only allowing a single shot throughout the final 45. The Chargers would end up tacking on three more goals closing the game out 4-0 over the AMCATS.
