Women’s Soccer Fall to Saints on Senior Day

PAXTON, MA: The Anna Maria College women's soccer team welcomed Emmanuel College on Wednesday evening in Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) action at Caparso Field.

SENIOR DAY:

Prior to the game, the AMCATS recognized their graduating senior class as part of senior day. DeAnna Baker (Lansdale, PA), Ashley Dickinson (Bowmanville, ON), Keannah Dunsmore (Georgia, VT), Meghan Morrone (Westerly, RI), Ashlie Rivera (East Haven, CT), Samantha Rodriguez (Corona, CA), Lydia Rosen (Amherst, MA), Alexandra Rowland (Leicester, MA), and Alice Yokabaskas (Old Orchard Beach, ME) were honored by coaches, teammates, family members, and fans for their time with the women's soccer program. Although their time with the program may be ending, they will forever be a part of the AMCAT family.

HIGHLIGHTS

• The AMCATS goal was scored by sophomore forward Riley Michaud (Clinton, MA) in the 64^th minute. The goal was Michaud's team-leading sixth of the year.
• Sophomore midfielder Valentina Villa (Norwalk, CT) was credited with an assist on the Michaud goal.
• Senior goalkeeper Alice Yokabaskas (Old Orchard Beach, ME) recorded nine saves on 11 shots on goal. The nine saves tied her season high recorded in a 4-0 victory at Rivier on September 24^th.
• The Lasers' goals were scored by Rory Mahoney (assisted by Liz McCormick) in the 12^th minute and Sarah Dullaghan (unassisted) in the 74^th minute.
