PAXTON, MA. – On Monday, September 25th the Anna Maria College Women's Volleyball team hosted the Bay Path University Wildcats for a non-conference matchup. The AMCATS lost the match 3-0.
After going down early in the first set, the AMCATS managed to scrape together a few points before the Wildcats pulled away closing out the set 25-18. The AMCATS struggled to make anything happen in the second and third set battling hard against the Wildcats but ultimately coming up short 25-17 in the final two sets. The match would end up 3-0 in favor of Bay Path.
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE
- Ashley Sheehan led the AMCATS with 7 serving aces (season high).
- Shae Savoie led the AMCATS with 8 kills while also tallying 5 digs against the Wildcats.
- Jana Hunt led the team with 11 digs, with Serena Dennis coming close second with 10.
