Women’s Volleyball Goes the Distance in Loss to Bay Path

PAXTON, MA: The Anna Maria College women's volleyball team opened their 2022 home slate when they took on Bay Path University in their 2022 home opener at the Fuller Center in Paxton. The AMCATS took the first two sets before falling in five sets.

HIGHLIGHTS

• Junior outside hitter Sarah Burt (Plymouth, MA) had team highs of five service aces and 21 digs while contributing 17 digs.
• Senior libero Serena Dennis (Holyoke, MA) led the AMCATS with 21 digs.
• Junior setter Julia Tarantino (Pembroke, MA) led all players with 20 assists.
• The wildcats Anastasiya Tsetsko (Horsham, PA) had a game-high 24 kills while hitting .629 for the match.  Lilly Kibbe (Ware, MA) and Zyiasia Knighton (Springfield, MA) joined Tsetsko in the double decade club by topping 20 in a statistical category with 22 and 20 digs respectively.

UP NEXT:

Anna Maria will be back in action on Wednesday when they will travel to Keene, NH to play Keene State. The teams will take to the court at 7pm.
