Wildcats Pull Away From Volleyball 3-0

PROVIDENCE, RI. – On Thursday, September 28th the Anna Maria College women's volleyball team traveled to Providence, RI to take on the Johnson and Wales University Wildcats for a Great Northeast Athletic Conference Matchup. The AMCATS lost the match 3-0.

After a tight back and forth battle in the first set, the Wildcats managed to pull away from the AMCATS in the end, bringing the first set to a 25-20 close in favor of Johnson and Wales. The AMCATS would hold their ground yet again in the second set taking the early lead over JWU. However the Wildcats would come back and keep things close before pulling away let in the set for yet another 25-20 set win over the AMCATS. Trailing two sets to zero, the AMCATS struggled in the third set and couldn't keep up with the Wildcats as they ended the game with a 25-12 set win over the AMCATS.

The AMCATS will be back in action on Saturday, September 30th, where they will head to Lasell University for a conference Tri-Match between the Lasers of Lasell University and the University of Saint Joseph (CT.) Bluejays. First match starts at 11:00am!
