COVID-19 VACCINE (ALL SPORTS)
As you are aware, the COVID-19 Vaccine and Medicat are required for all students to be on campus in the fall. The current vaccines for COVID-19 are effective at preventing infection (CDC, John Hopkins). In addition, all three vaccines are highly effective at preventing serious illness, hospitalization, and death from COVID-19 if you do get it while vaccinated (John Hopkins).

It is also important in our community to look out for one another. Widespread vaccines will limit the spread of COVID-19 to fewer people. In addition, being vaccinated protects people around you, particularly people at risk for severe illness due to COVID-19.

We are all looking forward to gathering again. We look forward to attending athletic events, paint nights, eating with friends in the dining hall and the hub, attending music recitals and concerts, and much more. The more we are vaccinated, the more we can reduce mask wearing, physical distance, and return to gatherings.
