Jordyn Bleaney, Women's Ice Hockey
Senior women’s ice hockey player Jordyn Bleaney was named AMCAT Spotlight Player of the Week for games played December 1st through December 8th. On December 6th the AMCATS would host the Rams of Framingham State. Bleaney would start the AMCATS off with the early goal on the powerplay to get the AMCATS on the board first against the Rams, for her first goal of the season. Bleaney would provide strong offensive and powerful skills to lead the AMCATS to beat the Rams 3 to 1. She would not only use her dominating offensive mindset to power the AMCATS over the Rams. But it would also be her exceptional defensive skills to deny the come back from the Rams and secure the AMCATS win. She has a total of three points, with one goal and two assists in six games so far this season. Bleaney currently is in second for the AMCATS with points so far this season.
The AMCATS will be back in action when they return from break on January 3rd, 2025 where they will travel to Henniker NH to take on the Pilgrims of New England College. Opening puck drop is set for 6:00pm.
