Lucier Named NECC Rookie of the Week
Paxton Mass. – Anna Maria College freshman Destinee Lucier (Worcester, Mass.) has been named the New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) Field Hockey Rookie of the Week as announced by the conference office on Monday evening.
The first year forward posted a career-high three assist game versus conference foe Daniel Webster College on Saturday afternoon. Lucier collected her first collegiate assist with a nifty pass to teammate Katherine Landanno in front of the net and added a pair of helpers on a duo of goals by Kaitlyn Moran.
The AMCATS posted a 6-0 win en route to a perfect 6-0 conference mark.
Anna Maria will host Becker College in the NECC Semifinals on Wednesday evening at 6pm at AMCAT Field.
