Dalbec Named NECC Rookie of the Week

Paxton, Mass. - Freshman Kylie Dalbec (Portland, ME) has been named the New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) Rookie of the Week for the week ending October 14^th as announced by the conference office on Monday morning.

Dalbec posted eight points (2 goals, 4 assists) on the week for Anna Maria as the AMCATS were a perfect 3-0 last week. Anna Maria picked up two New England Collegiate Conference wins against Becker College and Elms College while also registering a 4-1 win against non-conference opponent Lasell College. Dalbec started the week scoring two goals, including the game winner, against Route 56 rival Becker College. The first year forward also assisted on the last goal in the 5-1 win. Dalbec dished out two helpers in the win over Lasell and set-up teammate Lowe for the game's first goal in a 2-1 win over Elms. She is currently second in the NECC in points (20), goals (7) and assists (6).

The AMCATS return to action on Wednesday when they host NECC rival Bay Path College at 4:00pm.
