Lowe Named NECC Player of the Week
Sophomore Nichole Lowe has been named the New England Collegiate Conference Field Hockey Player of the Week for the week ending September 2nd.
Lowe helped propel the AMCATS to a 3-1 season opening win over visiting Colby-Sawyer College. The forward tallied a goal and an assist for Anna Maria. Trailing 1-0 entering the second half, Lowe tied the score eight minutes in with a nice tip inside the right post. Lowe's helper came on the AMCATS third goal to seal the victory.
Anna Maria returns to action today when they travel to Wheaton College for a 3:00pm match-up.
