Sammons Named ECHA Player Of The Week

PAXTON, MA : Junior forward Sara Sammons (Western Australia, AUS) of the Anna Maria College women's ice hockey team was recognized as the Eastern Collegiate Hockey Alliance (ECHA) Player of the Week for the week ending November 28, 2021 as announced by the conference on Monday.

Sammons starred for the AMCATS this week, with one goal and two assists. The junior scored the eventual game-winner against Assumption on Saturday, with an unassisted goal 13:24 into the second period.

Anna Maria will be back on the ice on Tuesday when they travel to Salem State for a 6:00 p.m. game.
