MARLBORO, MA: The Anna Maria College women's ice hockey team prevailed 3-1 over visiting Assumption University on Saturday evening in Eastern Collegiate Hockey Alliance (ECHA) action at the New England Sports Center in Marlboro, Massachusetts.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The AMCATS saw goals from freshman defender Olympia Myers (Grimsby, ON), freshman forward Jordyn Bleaney (Nanoose Bay, BC) and senior forward Riley Cote (Tewksbury, MA), with Bleaney's power play goal 4:46 into the second period representing the eventual game-winner.
- Anna Maria junior goalkeeper Julia Smith (Chillwack, BC) stopped 24 of 25 shots for the AMCATS.
