SCORING

First Half: Anna Maria wasted little time getting on the scoreboard, as Kayla Lapierre (Worcester, Mass.) connected on a pass from Kylie Dalbec (Portland, Mass.) 2:47 into the game to net the first goal.

Just two minutes later, at the 4:16 mark Rivier's Parece broke past the defense with the ball and put it past AMCAT netminder, Bryanna Tobin (Deep River, Conn.) to tie the game at 1-1. The AMCATS responded a minute later as Nicole Denver (Springfield, Mass.) netted her first goal of the game off of a pass from teammate Kaitlyn Moran (Leicester, Mass.). The AMCATS went on a scoring streak with three more goals in the first half. Lapierre scored her second goal of the game at the 10:25 mark after receiving a cross pass from Dalbec. Dalbec then scored just two minutes later after a scramble in front of the net. The last goal of the half was scored with 10 minutes remaining as Moran found the back of the net. The AMCATS took a 5-1 lead going into the halftime break.
Second Half: The second half did not see as much scoring as the first as only two more goals were tallied. The AMCATS finished the day with a goal from Denver ten minutes into the second half, for her second goal of the day.

Parece tallied Rivier's final goal of the day for her second unassisted goal on the day.
