Celata Named NFHCA Scholar of Distinction

PAXTON, MA--- Senior midfielder Abigayle Celata (Baldwinville, MA) of the Anna Maria College field hockey team has been named to the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Division III Scholars of Distinction honors list in an announcement by the association this week.

The Scholars of Distinction program recognizes student-athletes who have achieved a cumulative grade-point average of 3.9 or higher through the first semester of the 2021-22 academic year.

Celata has played in 51 games over three seasons for the AMCATS. She had already been recognized on the NFHCA's All-Academic Team.
