Rosenberg Named GNAC Rookie Of The Week
PAXTON, MA: Freshman first baseman Jeremy Rosenberg (Boynton Beach, FL) of the Anna Maria College baseball team has been named the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Rookie of the Week for the week ending April 3, 2022 in an announcement by the conference on Tuesday.
Rosenberg busted out this past week, slashing .545/.583/.818 with a home run and three RBI over three games, which included a double-header sweep of Johnson & Wales University. The first-year first baseman put on a show against the Wildcats on Saturday with a Game 2 two-run blast in the bottom of the first that set the tone for a massive offensive performance for Anna Maria in a 20-8 blowout. For the season, Rosenberg is hitting .400 with 11 RBI in 14 games.

Anna Maria will be back in action on Tuesday when they travel to Albertus Magnus College for a GNAC double-header.
