Dunithan Named GNAC Player Of The Week

PAXTON, MA: Junior transfer centerfielder Hunter Dunithan (Reno, NV) of the Anna Maria College baseball team has been named the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Player of the Week for the week ending March 13, 2022 in an announcement by the conference on Tuesday.
Dunithan, a transfer from Folsom Lake community college, was an explosive force at the plate for the AMCATS in Florida, hitting .538 with a 1.000 slugging percentage off of seven hits, one home run, four RBI, two walks and four stolen bases.
Dunithan is the second AMCAT to be named GNAC Player of the Week through two weeks of the season. Junior designated hitter James Powers (Folsom, CA) was recognized for the week ending March 6.
