Taking the lead early, the AMCATS were up 6-1 over the Lancers going into the seventh inning. A Homer from Kosta Drosidis gave the AMCATS their sixth run before the end of the inning. After giving up six runs in the eighth inning the AMCATS found themselves trailing behind the Lancers. The AMCATS answered back however with a single RBI from Jeremy Rosenberg that sent James Powers home to tie the game up. Now tied up at seven a piece going into the bottom of the ninth, the AMCATS need to hold off the Lancers to get to extra innings. Unfortunately a single from the Lancers ended the game with a walk off run. The AMCATS closed out the game behind the Lancers 8-7

Anna Maria Baseball will be back in action on Friday, April 21st where they will host the Chargers of Colby-Sawyer for a GNAC Conference doubleheader at Marlborough High School. Game one starts at 3:00PM
