PAXTON, Mass. (9/13/11) – The Daniel Webster College women's volleyball team took three-straight games by the scores of 25-14, 25-17, and 25-15 to defeat Anna Maria College during a The Commonwealth Coast Conference matchup at The Fuller Activities Center on Tuesday night. The win improves the Eagles record to 5-0 overall, while the AMCATS drop to 2-3.
Junior Chelsey Crawford (Westfield, Mass) led all players with eleven kills for the Eagles, while junior Brier Temple (Concord, NH) and senior Kate-Lyn Brealut (Hudson, NH) each added seven kills for the visitors. Senior Caitlyn DePierro (Billerica, Mass.) also stood out for Daniel Webster compiling a game-high 25 assists and three aces in the win.
Senior Nichole Robbie (Bellingham, Mass.) paced the AMCATS with nine digs, 6 kills, and an ace, while Alicia Bonneau dished-out seven assists for the AMCATS.
Both teams return to action this Thursday, with Daniel Webster facing visiting Suffolk, and the AMCATS travel to Worcester State University for a 6:00 pm match-up.
