Pride Battle Past AMC, 3-0

PAXTON, Mass. – Sophomore Julie Endara (Boca Raton, Fla.) recorded fourteen kills, eight digs, and an ace to help propel the Regis women's volleyball team to a 3-0 victory over Anna Maria College at The Fuller Activities Center on Wednesday night. The victory improves the Pride to 4-7 on the year, while the loss drops the AMCATS' season mark to 2-7.

The AMCATS were paced by sophomore Amanda Glennon (Easton, Mass.) who had a game high 13 digs in the loss. Senior Alicia Bonneau (Worcester, Mass.) also played well, dishing-out a 9 assists, while sophomore Alex Rodriguez (Puerto Rico, PR) had 5 kills, 9 digs and 4 aces on the night.

In addition to Endara, the Pride also received strong performance from sophomore Sara Gold (North Hollywood, CA), sophomore Caitlyn Walsh (Taunton, Mass.) and freshman Jackie Silver (West Hills, CA). Gold had seven digs while Walsh led both teams with 17 assists and Silver served up a match best 7 aces.

The AMCATS will return the court on Saturday hitting the road to compete in a tri-match at Albertus Magnus College starting at 11:00 am
