PAXTON, Mass. (10.26.11) – Anna Maria's senior setter Alicia Bonneau (Worcester, Mass.) had a team high 12 assists but the women's volleyball team dropped a 3-0 (25-23, 25-12, 25-16) decision to the Lasell Lasers in Greater Northeast Athletic Conference match at Fuller Athletic Center on Wednesday night. With the loss, Anna Maria falls to 3-21 (0-12 GNAC) while Lasell improves to 14-17 (6-5 GNAC).
In a pre-game ceremony Head Coach Samantha Shomo recognized her graduating seniors for their contribution to the AMC volleyball program. Marie Barral (Worcester, Mass.), Nichole Robbie (Bellingham, Mass.) and Alicia Bonneau were all recognized.
Marie Barral had a game high 11 digs along with 3 assists on the night. Outside hitter Nichole Robbie had 5 kills, 3 aces and 9 digs in her home finale and Alicia Bonneau added 2 kills and 3 digs to her 12 assists.
Anna Maria travels to Norwich University on Saturday for an afternoon tri-match in their season finale.
